I am a collection of personal experiences and societal influences. My psyche is not one that I have created but one that has been given to me. Through the brainwashing at brith to where I am now society controls my wants, needs, actions, and even dreams. I have been told that being a male I should like sports, sex, violence, alcohol and videogames. This is my generation. I have no choice but to like these things. GI joe toys being shoved into my soft puggy childlike hands. Action cartoons like teenage mutant ninja turtles where a clan of robot ninjas serve as the main enemy. Where in action films the guy chases after the girl, gets her and she becomes his. By having these things introduced to our blank slates we become happy or take a liking to things that we feel comfortable around. In my case a man liking sports, sex, violence, alcohol and videogames. Our society is a delicate thing. Those who do no follow the norms are thrown out, destroyed, forgetten. Like old technology they become obsolete. Our society created itself and being that humans are anything but perfect. This creates conflict. Endless conflict and one day colapse.
I admit that I am not a special or unique snowflake. I may seem different to some but that is because my experiences or society differs from their's.
